Hollow Form Object: Concept Generation

For this assignment, I've really struggled. I don't understand all the concepts and it's overwhelming me. I haven't been able to receive the answers to my questions which has left me feeling more stressed. I do not have comments about each individual photo I am going to include but I will add them. As to why some of them look like they've been screenshotted from a different program, that's because they have. I meant to send myself my concepts in rhino format, but accidentally sent them as .STL's, and so to open them from my home computer they look weird. Anyways, without further ado...

First, I will show you my very first concepts. I was going way too complex for my first concepts, I think.

Things were not going well at this point but I honestly felt less confused then, than I do now. Carrying on.

None of the things listed above would work for what we're doing for obvious reasons but I learnt stuff making them...I think I did, anyway.

I think this one above needs some tweaking but could work? I like the concept. Reminds me of ancient female forms carved in stone and the likes.

I do believe the above object would work.

The previous screenshots were all from things I made a few days ago. The above screenshot is from me sitting down and playing around with the program and the concepts again, and, I only end up feeling more lost.

In the above image, I think the shape on the left will definitely work. I think the one on the right might, or could with some tweaking, but I'm not sure. I was inspired by all the funky things we were shown last class, and I wanted to make some more complex things, but I really did struggle. I do have a basic understanding of the new commands we learnt, but I also have some questions.

One small but very annoying issue I had was, I would create a curve and the control point would not be in the middle of my polygon. One could argue it was because it was more complex shapes than a circle, but I'm confident that's not the cause of the issue. I'm confident that I've made a polygon before and the control point was automatically the middle... I temporarily fixed my problem by using the command, "AreaCentroid," which creates a control point at the centre of selected curve(s), but I am hoping that maybe I clicked something without realizing, or there is some way to force the control point to automatically default to the middle. So yeah, I struggled this week and I didn't enjoy this assignment like I did the last but here we are. Enjoy, because I really didn't!
