The self supporting hollow vessel, it was on the shelf one day but we were told to leave them there that day as I think Peter wanted to see them or something? Anyways was sick for a few weeks after that and haven't seen it since. I also handed in the coat hanger file late so I never got to see it printed. Therefore for those assignments I will only have rhino photos. Voxel Model: Propane Tank b.) Castle c.) Hollow Form (Models and 3D Print) d.) Coat Hook (Models and 3D Print)   e.)  for the collab assignment, mick designed the box and i designed the insert. i forgot to take pictures while making the insert but it was very similar to make the insert i designed for the coffin box, it was simpler even. here is some pictures after the object was laser cut. mick and i built the box together and decorated it with some ribbon. i didnt get any pictures of the jewelry insert but it's in there!

Paper Craft Box Personal Project: Cat Box

I made this box as a christmas gift for my friend, I was planning on just doing it for fun over the break but once I started I decided I wanted to finish it and hand it in as well. here's a bunch of pictures of the process. cutting the tabs to size because i use a cricut machine i have to use solid lines where i want a score. i mean i guess i dont have to but i dont really want a perforated score line anyways i forget why but i did have a lot of trouble at one point but this was what i was left with at the end. here it is imported into my cricut program. have to save it as a .svg i forgot to take pictures right after the cut, and during the build. but here she is all done, the pictures are not the best either but i left the box for you to look at. this one was more complex because of the ears, i had to have a tab fold off of another tab for the ears, rather than the bottom of the box.

I had some issues with automatically unrollsrf command not unrolling the surfaces how I wanted it to so I had to do it similar to how you stated you did it; explode, rotate2d, join, unrollsrf. This screenshot below is from when I, for the life of me, could not figure out why command make2d was not getting rid of isocurves. I discovered it was making a new model out of my view that did actually get rid of the isocurves. I ended up using polylines to make my own triangular shaped tabs, other than at the very bottom where I used polygon<3>. One thing I ran into,...
